Apparently more than one house was condemned--at least two. I'm sorry for the people who owned those houses and wonder what will happen. Will they just be torn down and holes left there? Will the people be able to rebuild? I should think rebuilding would be the better option. But at least no one was killed or injured.
As a friend of Chris's, I'm relieved to know things may be OK with him, though of course his house had to be affected in some way. What a shame! We had a similar incident involving a car in the 2700 block of Guilford, but because we are set back from the street, the car destroyed only another car and an entire concrete retaining wall.

Chat,
I cruised by that location this AM on the way to work to check it all out.
Chris Jensen lives in the corner house. The house hit by the truck is two
houses north of Jensen's. The entire sunroom that used to be on the front is
now a pile of rubble! It's kind of strange that it happened that way.
Jensen's house would have been very easy to hit from the intersection and this
house would seem much harder to hit than Jensen's. Jensen was very lucky
indeed and the other guy was very unlucky! I guess it's all just a roll of
the dice isn't it?
Regards, Arjay
