The Baltimore Marathon begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15. The race 
is
expected to create traffic delays throughout the city. Mile 4 travels east 
on 28th
Street from Druid Lake Drive before heading south on Saint Paul Street to 
the Inner
Harbor. Mile 23 travels west on 33rd Street to Guilford Avenue then south on 
Guilford
to before turning right onto 28th Street.

If you need to leave the neighborhood between 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. it is
advisable to park your vehicle away from the marathon route prior to the 
start
of the race.

Charles Village residents will be hosting a snack station and block party in 
the 3000
block of Guilford Avenue starting at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers interested in 
working at
the snack stop should contact John Fink at 410-366-4157 or
