[Chat] Recycling Problems

I'm not sure that info is entirely accurate. After
the city reversed its decision to require every
neighborhood to put their recycling in the front
several years ago, it named specific blocks in CV that
had to continue to put theirs at the front because
their alleys were too narrow for the larger trucks.
Many were in the area mentioned, but not all.

The west side of Abell, for instance (at least the
3000 block), could handle the trucks, and they
routinely go down the alley. If I recall correctly,
one of the neighborhood newsletters listed where each
block had to put their recycling at the time the
decision was made. If anyone still has that info, it
would be great to make it public again, because I
agree that it's a waste of city resources to have to
collect from both the front and back of houses.
